Definitely, they do. But the Forte's is just on a whole new level. I never seen anything quite like it until now.

Frosted diffusers. They blend the light from LEDs, making them look almost like EL strips. This is the future of LED taillights

Dodge also has them on the new Durango and they're going to be on the refreshed Charger as well

The LEDs are diffused so it looks as pictured above, and I think it looks fantastic.

Agreed, its larger and more noticeable and somehow isn't as harsh as Audis implementation. New ones (The Allroad and A7 come to mind) have the same soft glow from their LED pipes, but they are no where near as large or noticeable.
